On June 7th, Continuum’s Second Season Premieres on Syfy

After spending the last few months on the Monday drama block with Being Human and Lost Girl, the Canadian import will slide over to Friday beginning June 7 at 10 p.m. with its second-season premiere.

The second season will consist of 13 episodes, up from 10 in the first season, and will continue the adventures of future cop Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) as she tracks a terrorist organization in modern-day Vancouver. It’s a smart show, and is just starting to scratch the surface of its intriguing time-travel premise.

I’m actually quite excited by this premiere because I just caught up with Continuum on Netflix and I loved it. The series is much smarter than I expected, and I enjoyed Keira more than I’ve enjoyed a female lead in a series in years.

Time travel is a trope near and dear to my heart and I am enamored of how well they’re doing with it on Continuum. If you like time travel series, you definitely might want to at least give this series a try. The first episode had me hooked. You’ll probably know right away if you want to keep watching.
