The Walking Dead Season 1 DVD Sale Price

For the moment, The Walking Dead Season 1 DVD is at a special price, heavily discounted on Amazon. Fans of this Emmy-winning, groundbreaking series, can buy the Season 1 DVD for their collection at a fantastic price.

This series is recommended for fans of zombies, apocalypse disaster stories, and anyone with a strong stomach!

I’m writing about this because I personally have just recently discovered this series (on Netflix) and the price is just a bit over the cost of a single movie ticket. The 2 disc set has 6 episodes and runs for 292 minutes. That’s a much better deal than a movie and then I get to watch each episode as many times as I want, like reading a good book all over again.

There’s a page about the season 1 DVD set for The Walking Dead, or for more information about The Walking Dead series itself.

You might like this TV show if you like disaster stories, apocalypse stories, or outbreak stories. I enjoy it, and I enjoy all those things!

Eureka

Eureka is certainly one of the best science fiction television shows still airing new episodes but its future was cut short several months ago when it was announced that the upcoming season 5 would be its last. Although there was an announcement only a day before that indicated there would be a short season 6 for Eureka, that news was rescinded quickly and the announcement was made about the cancellation of the series after season 5.

The good news is that Eureka’s season 5 was given an additional episode in which to tie up the series, but the bad news is that it probably won’t be nearly the send-off the series deserves.

You can find plenty of information here about Eureka, but for more, you should visit my site made especially for Eureka fans.

Falling Skies

imageOne of my new favorite shows, Falling Skies is the story of the aftermath of an alien invasion. Although humanity hasn’t quit fighting the war, they didn’t win the battle for Earth. Their adults are killed, their children are harnessed for manual labor, and only those who escaped are left to mount a resistance.

Airing on TNT over the summer months, Falling Skies is a character heavy science fiction series with enough action to keep viewers entertained and enough intrigue to keep us interested.

Falling Skies Episode List

Falling Skies

There are lots of reasons to watch this series. Falling Skies is an awesome science fiction television series about an alien attack on Earth, where the aliens have killed many of the adult humans. They “harness” and use the children for a purpose not yet fully revealed, but which seems to be as manual labor.

Starring Noah Wyle as Tom Mason and Moon Bloodgood as Anne Glass.

Falling Skies Season 1 Episodes

This Falling Skies episode list names all 10 episodes (9 if you count the 2 hour series premiere as 1 episode) of the (fabulous, cool, exciting) TNT series. I kinda like it.

  1. Live and Learn (Series Premiere / Pilot, Episode 1)
  2. The Armory (Series Premiere / Pilot, Episode 2)
  3. Prisoner of War, Episode 3
  4. Grace, Episode 4
  5. Silent Kill, Episode 5
  6. Sanctuary Part 1, Episode 6
  7. Sanctuary Part 2, Episode 7
  8. What Hides Beneath, Episode 8
  9. Mutiny, Episode 9
  10. Eight Hours, Episode 10

You can sign up to be notified when Falling Skies is on DVD at Amazon.

Although the DVD isn’t yet available, there’s a really cool Falling Skies graphic novel prequel for the show.

Warehouse 13 Season 1 DVD

The Warehouse 13 Season 1 DVD is on sale at a significant discount. If you’re a fan and you’ve been thinking about owning this excellent science fiction TV series, this is probably the best chance you have to get a great price on the DVD box set of the entire first season. Check the price before you buy.

Warehouse 13 Season 1 DVD Box Set

Warehouse 13 is about two secret service agents who save the president’s life and end up transferred to "Warehouse" number 13 where items and artifacts that have some connection to the paranormal are stored. As Warehouse agents, Myka and Pete are tasked with finding and collecting artifacts that are dangerous or powerful and bringing them back to the warehouse where they’re neutralized.

I enjoy owning DVD box sets for a variety of reasons, including the idea that I can watch whenever I want without having to worry that there’ll be no repeats or that some online service will quit streaming the episodes.

Because I’ve already had the opportunity to watch both season 1 and season 2, and season 3 is airing, it’s easy to see that the series is getting better with time. The series started off well, but as it matures, Warehouse 13 had developed into a great little fun and entertaining science fiction television series that’s family friendly but adult enough to keep anyone interested.

Purchase the Warehouse 13 Season 1 DVD Box Set if you like quirky and fun and watch (or rewatch) season 1.

Episodes on the Warehouse 13 Season 1 DVD Box Set

The Warehouse 13 episodes listed in order below can be found on the season one box set.

  7. Implosion

10,000 Days Website

The website for 10,000 Days is interesting. It also crashed Adobe Flash on my older laptop and locked up Firefox. So, I won’t be going back to visit even though I find myself very interested in the show. It’s disappointing because the glimpse I had of the website made me want to take a closer look at it. Ah well. You can risk a visit if you like at http://10kdays.tv to learn more about this show.

Warehouse 13 Season 2 DVD

Season two of the hit Syfy series Warehouse 13 is available on DVD now for a great price! If you’re a fan of the show or just want to opportunity to catch up, you might enjoy having this DVD box set in your collection.

warehouse-13-season-2-dvd Warehouse 13 Season 2 DVD Box Set

The season 2 DVD set is cheap right now at a huge savings. Click here to check the current price. I’m not sure when the price will rise again, but right now it’s 60% off! This makes right now a perfect time to build up your collection of Warehouse 13 DVDs. :)

Warehouse 13 stars Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek, and others, all great at bringing the characters of Warehouse 13 to life.

Read on to see the list of episodes that are included in the season 2 DVD set. If you buy the DVD, you’ll want to know that the Christmas episode isn’t on the DVDs. It’s my understanding that Secret Santa is going to be released separately.

There are many great episodes on this DVD set that I enjoyed watching, including my favorites Merge with Caution, Age Before Beauty, Around the Bend, and Vendetta.

I think the show is improved from season 1, although I admit I’ve always liked it. Season 2 brought Myka and Pete closer together, but there’s not any real romantic spark between the two, who seem more like brother and sister than anything else. It’s a great show though, and well worth watching for the second or even the fourth or fifth time.

Purchase the Warehouse 13 Season 2 DVD for

If you’d rather watch season two of Warehouse 13 online, you can see all the episodes on Amazon Instant Video.

Season 2 Episodes on the DVD Set

  1. Time Will Tell
  2. Mild Mannered
  3. Beyond Our Control
  4. Age Before Beauty
  5. 13.1
  6. Around the Bend
  7. For the Team
  8. Merge with Caution
  9. Vendetta
  10. Where or When
  11. Buried
  12. Reset

Does NOT include the episode Secret Santa, which I’ve been told will be released at Christmas time as a special release. (Subject to change!)
